what is the best brand of baseball gloves? where should i buy one? how do i break it in, and how long does it take?

Is a Baseball Glove Machine Washable?

My baseball glove is really dirty and smelly, and i want to wash it its been laying in the bottom of my closet for years and my brother decided to play on the company baseball team this year, and he was gonna use my glove and its really dirty and i didn’t know if its machine washable. and its not a batting glove everything ive googled is a batting glove, i mean a regular glove to catch with.

Not that I know baseball gloves, but I know leather. It’s generally a bad idea to expose your leather to a great deal of water, as it can dry it out. The best thing to do is use a leather cleaner and conditoner on it. I’m sure they make one specifically for baseball gloves.

In extreme cases, I have washed my leather goods in the washer using this detergent that is specifically designed to be used for washing leather in the washer http://www.leathertherapy.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&products_id=187 It’s always turned out well. But definitely a last resort.
